Road Closure

For Kisumu - Busia Road,
Oginga Odinga Road,
Ring Road, Achieng Oneko Road,
Jomo Kenyatta Highway,
Kisumu - Vihiga Road

During the cycling event, certain roads will be temporarily closed for the safety of athletes and the public.

A car with a red flag in front indicates that cyclists are coming – please keep off the road.
There will be individual time trials, where riders are spaced out, and mass races, with cyclists in small groups.
It is extremely dangerous to use closed roads while races are in progress.
Once the car with a green flag passes, it means all cyclists are through and the road is open again to normal traffic.
Always follow the instructions of the safety marshals and police.
